I recommend Mr. Navin Verghese with all my heart. I have no words to describe my gratitude to him. I was wrongly diagnosed for a year and became so desperate that I asked to see a consultant privately. Mr Verghese recognised my condition immediately and his was confirmed by a scan. He offered to give me treatment on the NHS but we both realised that I needed surgery urgently.. he put no pressure on me and I opted willingly to pay for private treatment. He was so caring and helpful. He has a charming personality. He explained everything to me, both the pros and the cons. He was absolutely honest and made no false promises. He met with me on the day of the surgery and I walked calmly into the theatre without a single qualm. The operation was an unqualified success and nine weeks later I am making excellent progress. He has offered me any further help I need. There is every indication that I will, with help from my physiotherapist, who is also first class, be fully restored to health. Considering I am 85 though very active for my age, one can see the debt I owe to this very remarkable doctor.

I had a double level discecomy on my lower back, i then had two cages, rods and screws fitted in Febuary 2015. The level of care i recieved pre and post op was second to none. Mr Verghese listend to my concerns and put me at ease, he was also very understanding and supportive to my wife. I can not recommend him highly enough, a true gentleman and an expert surgon.

I am 85 years of age but the doctor spent time at the consultation and on my admission to ensure I fully understood what the problem I had and how he was going to deal with it. After the operation he made several visits to me before I was discharged from hospital to reassure me about the operation I had had and to give me clear guidance as to my anticipated recover rate. I felt totally at ease.
